Billy G’s story began in 2005 when cookie dough was (and still is) the hottest fundraising product in America. Bill Gaydon aka Billy G (yes, he’s a real person) attended the American Association of Fund-Raising Distributors & Supplier Convention and was approached by a large cookie dough manufacturer who inspired him to import cookie dough as a home baking product and provide a highly successful fundraising opportunity for schools and organisations.

In early 2006, Billy G imported the first tubs of Billy G’s Gourmet Cookie Dough in a refrigerated 40-foot container from America and within 4 weeks it was sold out. Due to the huge demand, he needed a plan B due to supply constraints. Within 6 months a factory was sourced in Queensland which now produces our gourmet cookie doughs for consumers all over Australia.

Every batch is made to the exact same recipe in a nut-free factory ensuring 100% safe recipes with the best ingredients. In fact, 80% of our ingredients are sourced right here in our amazing country.

Today, we are privileged to connect with hundreds of thousands of customers every year and we are grateful for your support over our journey so far. Each cookie baked is designed to take you back to your childhood and those special times in the kitchen with family and friends.

Whilst Billy G is now retired and doesn’t mind a sneaky dagwood dog from time to time, he has passed down the business to his children Kylie and Robert who are proud to carry on running the family owned and operated company.
